Fall is here, which brings the cold, windy, sometimes rainy weather. On days like those we need to be able to keep the kids busy with activities. Like a lot of parents, I limit the amount of TV my girls can watch. When games and playing in the playroom and reading books are getting old. I try to have some fun craft and activities for the girls to do. I remember my favorite thing to do as a child was to play in the leaves. My mom or dad would rake a huge pile of leaves and playing in them would be hours of fun. I found some other activities you could do with your child this fall.
Kids can make a leaf mobile with the help of fallen leaves, an old clothes hanger and string. Cut the string into different lengths and attach to the clothes hanger. Then attach the leaves onto the string and there is the leaf mobile.
Have the child place a leaf under a piece of paper, and rub the paper with crayon, and the leaf shape will appear.
